Heritage and Peace-Building on the Border of Italy, Slovenia, and Austria

Wish us luck! The ARCH-Europe Team submitted an abstract for a panel we propose to co-host, together with the Kanaltaler Kulturverein: “From combat to friendship around a historic Alpine Lodge. Heritage and peace-building on the border of Italy, Slovenia and Austria.”

This would be for the European Archaeology Association’s Annual Conference, which will take place in Belfast in August of next year. In the session we would like to discuss the preservation of shared European heritage, peacebuilding, reconciliation, cross-border community building, environmental protection, and creative and sustained civil engagement. We will update you here on our Blog as soon as we know more. But in the meantime feel free to get in touch with us if you are interested in our work, or if you would like to volunteer together with us on our Annahütte project that works towards a strengthened European unity around heritage preservation 🙂
